Normal phase flash chromatography has been widely adopted as the most popular method of choice for separation of product mixtures and reaction by-products. Biotage supplies pre-packed purification cartridges featuring HP-Sphere 25 micron spherical silica (previously called ULTRA, in the SNAP ULTRA range) for a range of Biotage development and scale up flash purification platforms to support different chemistries and scale up purification scenarios. These cartridges are also used in validated cGMP processes worldwide. HP-Sphere provides the same benefits of a high surface area precision stationary phase, but the 25 micron average particle size diameter results in even tighter bands and higher resolution than similar larger sized silica. h has higher surface area and higher loading capacity than traditional amorphous (irregular) silica stationary phases. This stationary phase is very versatile and tuned for demanding larger scale applications where high sample loading and more precision is a requirement.
