Screen turns on however it displays the following message: HW FAILURE: RTC NOT ALIVE According to AI the issue is likely related to : “Real-Time Clock (RTC) chip on the main logic board is either unpowered or unable to communicate with the CPU. This is most commonly seen on legacy laboratory and ophthalmic diagnostic equipment (such as the Carl Zeiss / Welch Allyn Humphrey FDT 710 Visual Field Analyzer) or embedded industrial systems.” PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOT EXPERTS AND CANNOT ASSURE THIS IS THE ISSUE; WE ARE COPYING WHAT IS STATED ON AI. PLEASE NOTE ALL SALES ARE FINAL;NO RETURNS ALLOWED. Power & Boot Issue: The unit receives power and the LCD screen turns on successfully. However, it halts at the boot screen displaying the following error message: “HW Failure: RTC not alive (Return To Factory)”. Technical Note: “RTC” refers to the Real-Time Clock. This typically indicates a dead internal CMOS/RTC battery on the mainboard. Because we do not perform internal board-level repairs, the unit is being sold as-is.Cosmetic Condition: Used medical surplus. The outer casing, patient visor, and operator buttons are in good cosmetic condition with normal signs of previous clinical use.Testing Limitations: Due to the boot failure, we cannot test the optical functionality, the internal printer, or run a diagnostic visual field test.
